What would you say if I told you this meal takes less that 20 minutes from grocery bag to table? You better say, "OMG! I'm gonna share this blog with all my friends!" Reached over 7,000 views this week, WOO! So please do indeed share and I'll keep sharing the recipes.

Lemony Shrimp and Tortellini!

I timed it because I knew it'd be quick. That's my unpacked grocery bag in the background.

Ingredients: Baby bella mushrooms, parsley, crushed garlic, white wine, whole wheat cheese tortellini, lemon, shrimp, Parmesan cheese. Total cost: $14ish for 2 people

 Mom, please drop a shrimp.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Heat the tortellini in a shallow sauce pan with water until soft, about 5 minutes
2. Sizzle up the mushrooms and about 1 tsp garlic in frying/skillet pan, season with S+P, hit with about 1/2 cup of wine.
3. Toss shrimp with sprinkles of dried basil, S+P
4. Move over the tortellini and add the shrimp, they literally take maybe 90 seconds per side. Add chopped Italian parsley and juice of a whole lemon.
5. Once shrimp are pink, toss it all together, add parmesan cheese, taste, season if needed, then finish with more parsley.

It's just so beautiful

BOOM. 17 minutes

Don't tell me you can't cook. Clearly you can read. Just follow the directions and let me know how it goes!
XOXO
