What does "Seeking Full" mean?

A while back I heard a woman at Weight Watchers talk about her need to feel full all the time. She said she used food to fill those missing holes in her life. She knew if she felt full in her belly, at least something was satisfied.

That clicked for me.

Until I found other hobbies, food was comfort. But ya know what's not comfortable? Saying no to pool parties in high school because you're horrified to be half naked in front of everyone. It's uncomfortable to wear bigger clothes than you once did. It's uncomfortable to feel full from eating too much.

I've been on this mission to find fullness in life for a while. Fitness helped. Faith is a journey. I thought it was graduating, making money, buying a home and losing weight that would make me most happy. But it's really just sharing little moments with friends and family.  The more healthy I become, the more I'm truly living. Climbing mountains with my husband and dog. Chasing my neice and nephew. Dancing with hundreds of women at Zumba fundraisers. I couldn't do that before. And as I continue to search for fullness, I hope my little recipes and moments of health can help you on your journey too.
