Use what ya got!

There is a little wonderful woman in her 90s named Clara on YouTube who recreates meals she enjoyed with her family during The Great Depression. I have watched her countless times and I love her message of just "using what ya got." Too many people say that eating healthy is expensive. And it really doesn't have to be. She is seen in this video creating the "poor man's meal" which consist of hotdogs, onions, potatoes, and ketchup. Yum...

Clara knew what she was doing. For God so loved the world that he gave us STIR FRY! The perfect way to prepare vegetables and whatever protein you desire in minutes.

I had these two Perdue chicken patties in the freezer for a while now. Got them on sale and had no big plans for them. I could enjoy them on wheat bread with cheese but that's boring and I'm trying to eat less bread. We have an abundance of summer squash and tomatoes from the garden and frozen broccoli topped it off.

Fry the meat in the oil first with Goya adobo, then add veggies and hoisin sauce. Delish

I'll eat this a few hours apart
Drink your water!

Hello protein

I'll eat half for lunch and half for dinner but here's the whole shebang.

USE WHAT YA GOT!
